Our soft high-altitude Peruvian Royal Alpaca is naturally hypoallergenic and anti-bacterial, making it perfect for babies and young sensitive skin. The fine hollow fibres are strong, lightweight and long-lasting, they're also stain, odour, wrinkle and even flame resistant. An eco-friendly and renewable fibre, Royal Alpaca's delicate fineness means that won’t cause itching often associated with more course woollen fibres. Bred and prized in the Andes for over 5,000 years the alpaca is a smaller cousin of the llama and the same properties that protect the alpaca in temperatures of -28C to +27C mean that your little ones will be kept cool in the heat and warm in the cold.
